My interest in bullmastiffs awakened when I had the opportunity to meet several representatives of this magnificent breed at a large show.

During my search for my own bullmastiff puppy, I eventually came into contact with COLOMs through good friends in England. I received my first bullmastiff, Colom Stella, from COLOMs in 1982. Later followed Caiterlee Bruce of Colom, Mirabel of Colom and Colom Toowoomba.

Later on I ordered a puppy at MAXSTOKE and in 1987, had the privilege of bringing home Maxstoke MarcoPolo Mary. At the same time a male, Jagofpeeko Remi.

During my trips to England I always had my eye on NAUKEEN. When a litter was born out of Naukeen Night Ranger, I was naturally very happy when I was granted first pick of the litter. My vote fell on Naukeen Aussie.

The next import from England was Barrus Macushlah from BARRUS.

During the next two years, I was able to "loan" the unbelievable female Bullberry Gwendolyn "Vekki" from the Finnish kennel, BULLBERRY. After "Vekki" followed Bullberry Myfanwy.

And in the spring 2000, another female from the Finnish breeder, Bullberry Bobbysox.

As so many times in the past, a new puppy has come to us from England. "Colin" Cathaljay Marco Polo Colin, arrived during the spring of 2001.

From Finland Bullberry Hippolyta arrived in september 2001.

Full fartToday the kennel consists:
Bullberry Hippolyta (born Jan´00) and Cathaljay Marco Polo Colin (born Dec ´00).

Since 1981 when I first became involved in the breed, I have raised 19 litters. My goal is to produce typical bullmastiffs that are both mentally and physically sound for serious puppy buyers.
